Día de Muertos is one of the most meaningful celebrations to me. From a very young age, I learned that some souls have a shorter journey in this life, yet their love, presence and memories remain with us forever.

In Mexico, we honour those who have passed by welcoming their souls back through ‘La Ofrenda’, an altar filled with flowers, candles, photographs, and the food and objects they once loved. We believe that, on these special days, their souls return to visit us.

Over the years, I’ve come to see death not as the opposite of life, but as part of it. I believe our souls are on a journey of learning, completing lessons and evolving beyond our physical existence.

Some souls never truly leave us. Their legacy lives on forever.
